Fantasy NBA Sleeper Watch: Chicago PF Hakim Warrick

February 24th, 2010 by Fantasy Football Leave a reply »
Hakim Warrick was dealt to the Chicago Bulls before the deadline in the deal sending John Salmons to the Milwaukee Bucks, and has been a solid performer for Chicago since arriving in the Windy City.

In his three games with the Bulls, Warrick is averaging 12 points and 8 rebounds per game, and is owned in only 2.3 percent of ESPN leagues and 16 percent on Yahoo! His playing time has increased as well; Warrick is averaging almost 29 minutes a night for Chicago after playing only 21 per night in Milwaukee.

Considering that more popular names like Utah’s Paul Milsap, New Orleans’ David West, Cleveland’s Anderson Varejao and Miami’s Michael Beasley aren’t averaging eight boards a night, Warrick might be a solid power forward to consider adding off waivers in any format.
