Fantasy Impact: Joakim Noah to Be Sidelined For Up To Three Weeks

According to ChicagoBreakingSports.com , the Chicago Bulls are shutting down center Joakim Noah for at least the next three weeks.

Head coach Vinny Del Negro alluded to the possibility of Noah missing a month prior to this news, so while this news isn't shocking, it's still likely troubling to any fantasy basketball owners relying on Noah for some inside help.

With under two months remaining in the fantasy season, now is the time to decide whether or not Noah's averages over 10.7 points, 11.4 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game are worth waiting for.

It's also worth noting that, while he came back from an injury for four games before being sidelined again, he cracked 12 minutes in just one game, and was very inconsistent, while playing inconsistent minutes.

Verdict: In eight or 10-team leagues, it might be time to just cut Noah loose, as it's beyond desperate to cling to the hopes of his return rescuing your playoff hopes.
