Expect More Great Play From David Lee

David Lee showed in the 09-10 season that he is a legitimate All-star after averaging a gaudy 20.3 points and 11.7 rebounds.  In 08-09 he also averaged 11.7 rebounds, placing him at the top of the league in both seasons (third in both seasons).  

Some experts were guilty of saying that Lee could not produce elsewhere, and that he was a product of D'Antoni's system.  We may never find out, since Lee was traded to the Warriors, a team equally as high paced as D'Antoni's Knicks.  

David Lee has shown an affinity for making great passes, placing him up with the better passing big men.  He is highly efficient, and has a PER 22.28, 14th highest in Hollinger's ratings, actually a spot ahead of Kobe Bryant.

I think it is obvious that David Lee is primed for a huge season, but not significantly better than last year.

22.6 ppg, 11.7 rpg, 56.0 percent from the field, 4.2 apg, 0.7 bpg

These numbers make David Lee a legitimate late first/early second round pick in standard 9-cat leagues.
