E’Twaun Moore Injury: Updates on Bulls Guard’s Hamstring and Return

The injury-riddled Chicago Bulls took another hit Thursday when guard E’Twaun Moore suffered a hamstring injury.

Moore Ruled Out for Remainder of Thursday's Game Thursday, March 17 Moore played two minutes off the bench against the Brooklyn Nets before suffering the hamstring strain. The Bulls noted on Twitter he will not return for the rest of the contest.

Moore was averaging only 7.7 points per game this season coming into Thursday’s showdown with Brooklyn, but he has provided Chicago with a scoring spark in the backcourt during some of his recent efforts:



At his best, Moore can shoot from three-point range and beat defenders off the dribble, and he is versatile enough to play either point guard or shooting guard. Perhaps most importantly, he is a source of injury insurance for the fragile Derrick Rose and has taken on more responsibility since the Bulls traded Kirk Hinrich in February.
