Eric Gordon Is Practicing, Return Imminent?

The Clippers could use some good news. 

Their thrilling win against the Denver Nuggets was blemished somewhat due to Ralph Lawler and Mike Smiths one-game suspensions. Things will hopefully return to normal tomorrow night against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

We know Lawler and Smith will be back behind the mike, but might we also see Eric Gordon's return to the court?

Maybe.

I just received a tweet from the LA Times beat writer for the Clippers Lisa Dillman. She is reporting that EG was practicing with the team today. So, he should suit up and see action against Minnesota tomorrow right?

No.

I just received a second tweet. Dillman talked to Gordon who told her he will not play tomorrow night.  He is however scheduled to return later in the week. 

As much as we would all like to see Gordon back on the floor as quickly as possible, it might be smart to hold him back until Sunday the 29th. That's the day the Memphis Grizzlies and Hamed Haddadi visit L.A. 

Gordons return then may help to diffuse some of the tension surrounding that game. Trust me, there will be tension.
