The Blazers bring an eight game home winning streak against the Lakers into tonight's game at the Rose Garden. This is truly an amazing feat against one of the league's best teams, especially considering that during the first four of those victories, the Blazers were a sub .500 team. It's also interesting to see that the key in these games hasn't been stopping Kobe; he scored over 30 points in seven of the eight games.

Here is a quick recap of the eight game winning streak in order to get you warmed up for tonight's game.

 

Blazers 106—Lakers 103 (April 20, 2005)

This was the last game of the 2004-2005 season (record 27-55) and also the last game of the Coach Kevin Pritchard era (who took over for Mo Cheeks late in the season; KP's record was 5-22). Outlaw and Prz were the only current Blazers on the team (but Prz was injured). Outlaw led the Blazers with 20 points off the bench. Fun fact of this game?
