Eddie’s Back in the House: Heat Sign Former Fan Favorite

According to Yahoo! Sports, Eddie House is now a member of the Miami Heat, again. Mark Bartelstein (Eddie's agent) told Yahoo! Sports on Thursday that the 32-year-old guard and Miami agreed on a two-year contract for $2.8 million.

House was originally drafted by Miami and played his first three NBA seasons with the Heat.

Unlike the last two signings of Shavlik Randolph and Kenny Hasbrouck, House will be expected to make the 15-man roster once training camp is done.

Eddie gives Miami a potent scorer coming off the bench.

He was also Pat Riley's daughter's favorite player during his time on the team. Riley's daughter along with many Heat fans used to chant or bring signs stating "Free Eddie House" in an attempt to get him off the bench and on to the court more often.

While his playing time may be limited with Miami once again, House is a player who has grown accustomed to being a role player that comes off the bench when scoring is needed.
