Dwyane Wade Comments on Bulls’ Playoff Hopes, Chances of Winning NBA Title

Chicago Bulls shooting guard Dwyane Wade is entering the 2016-17 season with tempered expectations, as he told K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune:



The Bulls will have a new look this season. Gone are longtime pillars of the organization in Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah, along with star forward Pau Gasol. Replacing them are Wade, point guard Rajon Rondo, center Robin Lopez and rookie Denzel Valentine. 

Those players will help form the team's core, along with superstar Jimmy Butler. Taj Gibson, Nikola Mirotic, Bobby Portis and Doug McDermott are also on the roster.

The team's roster transformation, and the process of learning to play with one another, was a focus of a video the team released on Friday:



Wade's comments seem more measured than pessimistic. The Bulls don't have the talent or continuity of the Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers and San Antonio Spurs, the three top contenders for the NBA title this season.
