All U Can Heat
Dwyane Wade and Dwight Howard were expecting to face off versus one another this upcoming season. Looks like we won’t have to wait til the NBA season starts to see this happen.
It has recently been announced that both Wade and Howard will be going up against one another on Gatorade’s “REPLAY 3″ game September 10.
The Gatorade REPLAY series stages rematches of classic games between some of the nation’s best high school sports teams that have ended in a controversial way.
Gatorade brings in professionals for the games to serve as honorary coaches. In the first year of Gatorade REPLAY, they brought in Peyton and Eli Manning. For “REPLAY 2″ they had Scotty Bowman and Brendan Shannahan as the coaches for a hockey rematch.
This year's showdown will feature Wade and Howard serving as coaches for the opposing rivals. How great would it be if there’s five seconds left in a one point game and Wade calls a timeout to sub himself in? It won’t happen, but that would be pretty funny.
