Dwight Howard Trade Rumors: Latest News, Speculation on Rockets Center

With the Houston Rockets struggling to stay above .500, superstar center Dwight Howard's name continues to pop up in potential trade talks.  

According to Frank Isola of the New York Daily News, the Boston Celtics have inquired about the 30-year-old big man; however, Isola doesn't envision a deal getting done due to the center's injury history and that Howard can opt out of his contract during the offseason.

This isn't the first time Howard has been the subject of trade rumors and speculation during the 2015-16 campaign, as Chris Sheridan of SheridanHoops.com reported in December that Howard was unhappy in Houston and predicted an eventual trade to the Miami Heat.



Howard brushed off the talk, though, and he insisted he was focused on helping the Rockets return to the form that allowed them to reach the Western Conference Finals last season, per ESPN.com's Calvin Watkins:
