Orlando Magic megastar Dwight Howard, a.k.a. "Superman," is set to release an album targeted at kids called "Shoot for the Stars." The CD is scheduled to be out October 26.
"This record is a dream come true for me in so many ways," said Howard. "Recording this album ranks for me with being the first pick in the NBA draft, my first NBA All-Star game and winning a gold medal at the Olympics."
The CD boasts a track list of remakes of fan favorites like the Black Eyed Peas' "Let's Get It Started," MC Hammer's "U Can't Touch This," The Jackson Five's "ABC" and "Whoomp (Hoop) There It Is."
Howard, one of the funniest players in sports, will also do impersonations of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Charles Barkley and, my personal favorite, Magic coach Stan Van Gundy on the album.
Some of the proceeds from sales will go towards the BETA Center, which is an Orlando-based organization committed to supporting teenage mothers and at-risk families.
