Dwight Howard is a top NBA talent, but if things don't work out in basketball, he is apparently keeping his options open for another athletic career...in wrestling.
After attending UFC 202, TMZ asked the newly acquired Atlanta Hawks center about whether he would follow in Shaquille O'Neal's footsteps and compete in WWE.
"Of course, I like to entertain people," Howard said. "I'll get out there and scream and yell and suplex somebody, RKO out of nowhere."
If he does end up joining the WWE, we know he is already capable of becoming a heel. According to Arash Markazi of ESPN.com, Howard wasn't a popular figure at UFC 202:
The Las Vegas event might have just featured some bitter Los Angeles Lakers fans not happy about the way things worked out when he left the team in 2013. Anyone who has watched Howard over the last decade knows he is capable of entertaining fans just as easily.
As far as a real matchup, Howard also weighed in on a potential UFC battle against LeBron James. Unsurprisingly, he picked himself to win.
