Atlanta Hawks center Dwight Howard suffered a quad injury Tuesday night against the Miami Heat and did not return to the game.
It is unclear when he'll return to the court.

Mike Conti of 92.9 The Game reported that Howard was dealing with a contusion in his left quad. Ethan J. Skolnick of CBS Sports added that there was swelling and Howard will be re-evaluated on Wednesday.

This would be a devastating setback for the Hawks if Howard misses significant time, especially since he was their primary offseason acquisition and replacement for Al Horford.
