Draymond Green’s Mom, Grandma Told Him to Stop Crying to Officials so Much

If you think Draymond Green whines to the officials too much, just realize you're not alone.

After the Golden State Warriors' Game 4 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, a reporter asked Green why he didn't "talk" to the officials a lot that night. His response was perfect:

My mom and my grandma told me I'm crying too much. Leave the officials alone and just play. They've got you out there looking like you're a punk and don't know how to play basketball.

He went on to admit what he was doing and now has a new outlook:

When you sit back and watch, that's what I was doing. The fact that you asked me that question even further lets me know that that's what I was doing. So I just told myself I'm going to come out and play and whatever happens, happens.

When in doubt, always listen to Mom and Grandma. The Warriors and Cavaliers meet in Game 5 on Sunday with the series tied 2-2.
