Draymond Green ‘Pissed Off’ by Warriors’ Preseason Performance

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is not thrilled with his team’s performance through the first three preseason games.

Speaking Thursday to reporters, per Diamond Leung of the Bay Area News Group, Green said his angst stems from what he believes is a lack of team energy:

We’ve had three games, and I don’t think neither one of them has been us. You saw two minutes of us. You saw three minutes of us. But you ain’t see that eight-minute stretch of us, and that’s what pisses me off.

I think the frustration is stemming from we know what it takes. And regardless yeah it’s preseason or whatever, you know what it takes.

The Warriors ran away with the NBA’s best record (67-15) last year then marched through the playoffs to their first title since 1975.

In preseason so far, the defending champions are 1-2 and have been outscored 319-299 in games against Toronto Raptors, Portland Trail Blazers and Denver Nuggets.
