Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green knows what it's like to be overlooked and underrated in the NBA draft, so he's decided to stick up for small-school standout Kay Felder.
Green took to Twitter to voice his displeasure with draft analysts not giving Felder, who has spent the last three years playing for Oakland in the Horizon League, more attention:
Because of Felder's small-school credentials, it's easy to understand why draft analysts haven't given him a lot of attention. There's nothing that immediately jumps out at you. He did average 24.4 points per game last season, but Golden Grizzlies head coach Greg Kampe's system is built on fast-paced offense.
Felder wasn't an outstanding shooter from the field, hitting just 44 percent of his attempts last season. He's also an undersized guard, measuring in at just under 5'10" and weighing 177.2 pounds at the combine.
