Doug Collins Won’t Stop Pushing The Squad: Philadelphia 76ers Beat Bulls 105-99

The Philadelphia 76ers have just taken down Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls, 105-99.

It was a close game throughout, as the Sixers were trailing the entire first half.

However, they bounced back having an unstoppable third quarter, outscoring the Bulls, 32-18. In the outstanding third quarter performance, the Sixers shot nearly perfect from the field.

In the late fourth quarter, the Bulls cut the lead down to three. However, with clutch rebounds and foul shots from Andres Nocioni, the Sixers were able to preserve their lead and hold off a last surge by the Bulls.

Entering the game, one of the biggest headlines was the Holiday vs. Rose matchup.

Both young point guards played a great game. Rose may have put up the better stats, but Holiday played just as well.  

Rose scored 27 points and dished out nine assists, while Holiday scored 19 and recorded six assists.

The reason Rose scored more was because their offensive production mainly came from just Rose, Carlos Boozer and Luol Deng. They were the only players for the Bulls to record double digits.
