Doc Rivers Comments on Chris Paul, Blake Griffin Injuries

The Los Angeles Clippers lost Game 4 to the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday night, 98-84, but there are more important matters for the team at the moment.

All-Star point guard Chris Paul suffered a fractured right hand in the third quarter, and ESPN's J.A. Adande suggested he will likely miss the rest of the playoffs. Superstar forward Blake Griffin also seemed to reaggravate a quad injury that limited him in the second half of the regular season, and his status going forward is uncertain.

"It doesn't look good for him," head coach Doc Rivers said in regard to his star point guard after the game, per ESPN.com's Arash Markazi.

Rivers shared similar thoughts when asked about Griffin, per Markazi: "It doesn't look great for him, either."



Paul exited the game with 6:07 remaining in the third quarter of Los Angeles' 98-84 loss, which evened the first-round series at 2-2. The Clippers trailed by six at the time of Paul's departure.
