Paul Coro of AZCentral.com reported Booker is dealing with a sprained toe, adding Brandon Knight would start in his place against the Clippers.
Booker Off to Strong Start to Sophomore Season
This is a disappointing setback for Booker, who appears to be a blossoming star at the NBA level.
He averaged 13.8 points per game behind 34.3 percent shooting from three-point range as a rookie and has followed that up with 15.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists per contest in 2016-17. He can stretch the floor and take advantage of openings created by Eric Bledsoe and Knight's penetration.
