The Detroit Pistons defeated the Miami Heat 107-97 on Tuesday night, snapping Miami's 10-game winning streak in the process.
Although LeBron James dropped in a game-high 23 points on 8-of-15 shooting, the Heat were unable to overcome the absence of Dwyane Wade—who sat due to a day of rest—on both ends of the floor.
The Pistons offense hummed all night long against a lethargic Heat defense, one that allowed Detroit to shoot 51.2 percent from the field. Detroit also boasted seven double-figure scorers in the win.
As a team, the Heat shot 43.9 percent from the field and 32.1 percent from three, and couldn't overcome a sluggish offensive start.
