Cavaliers 107, Pistons 90—Final

The Cleveland Cavaliers pulled away in the second half to trounce the Detroit Pistons 107-90 on Wednesday at Quicken Loans Arena.

LeBron James dropped in 27 points for Cleveland, which took a 2-0 lead in the series. Kyrie Irving tallied 22 points, and J.R. Smith added 21 on seven made triples.

Detroit started quickly and hung around throughout the third quarter, but Cleveland ultimately compiled a 27-15 edge during the frame. Overall, the Cavs ripped off a 52-37 advantage after halftime.

Andre Drummond led the Pistons with 20 points despite converting just 4-of-16 free-throw attempts. Marcus Marcus Morris and Tobias Harris combined to shoot a meager 5-of-21 from the field.

Cleveland nailed 20 three-pointers, tying an NBA single-game playoff record.
