Williams Headed to Dallas for Evaluation

According to Earl K. Sneed of the team's official website, Williams will miss Dallas' games on Sunday and Monday after sitting out Friday night's showdown with the Golden State Warriors.
This is yet another setback for Williams considering he dealt with a hip injury earlier in the season. He has also only appeared in all 82 games once during his entire career (2007-08), and injuries have always been a problem for the former Illinois star.
Williams is a three-time All-Star and was once seen as one of the best point guards in the entire league during his prime. He struggled at times last season for the Brooklyn Nets with a 38.7 percent shooting clip from the field, but he assumed a primary role for the Mavericks this season.
