Denver Nuggets vs. Phoenix Suns: Nuggets Try To Win Despite Trade Rumors

For now Carmelo Anthony remains a part of the Denver Nuggets, and is expected to play tonight when they host the Phoenix Suns, but it appears unlikely that Anthony will be a Nugget much longer.

Denver didn't look good at all in their last game, falling 96-87 at home to the New Orleans Hornets. It was Denver's third straight loss, and you have to wonder if the players are struggling to play well with all the trade rumors. The Suns won 108-100 against the Cavaliers on Sunday, but have won just four times in their last 15 games.

Taking a look at the NBA spreads for tonight's game, the oddsmakers have the Nuggets favored by five points over the Knicks at home.

The Suns have to be hoping that their latest win will be what sparks a big run for this team. Phoenix hasn't won back-to-back games since winning three straight at the beginning of December, and so far the trade they made to bring in Vince Carter, Mikael Pietrus and Marcin Gortat hasn't resulted in many wins.
