Forward DeMarre Carroll is out for Monday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers because of a right knee contusion, announced the team.

Latest on Carroll's Timetable for Return Monday, Dec. 7 According to Eric Koreen of the National Post, the Raptors have listed Carroll as out "indefinitely." 

Carroll was ailed by plantar fasciitis in the first two weeks of the season and battled through a nasty knee sprain in last year’s Eastern Conference Finals while playing for the Atlanta Hawks.

Carroll, 29, signed a four-year, $60 million deal with the Raptors last offseason—a massive uptick to the two years and $5 million from the Hawks—making him the highest-paid Raptor, per Spotrac.

Known for being a rugged defender on the perimeter, Carroll hopped around the waiver wire before landing in Atlanta, where he spent two seasons and led the Hawks to the ECF for the first time in franchise history.
