DeMarcus Cousins Throws Ball at Chris Paul in Clippers vs. Kings Game

Chris Paul scored 40 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out 13 assists in the Los Angeles Clippers' 117-107 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Friday, but arguably the most interesting moment of his night came courtesy of Kings big man DeMarcus Cousins.

Paul attempted an alley-oop pass to Clippers forward Jeff Green with under three minutes left in the fourth quarter, but it was off-target. Cousins grabbed the loose ball and threw it off the back of Paul's head after Paul attempted a steal from behind.

When watching the event live, it appeared Cousins was trying to make a play to maintain Sacramento possession before landing out of bounds.

But after viewing the replay, Cousins—who finished with 26 points, 15 rebounds, nine assists, two steals and two blocks—didn't need to use that much force to keep the ball in play.

Paul may have a slight headache, but it was a small price to pay for his big night and team win.
