DeMarcus Cousins Suspended: Latest Details, Comments and Reaction

Sacramento Kings star DeMarcus Cousins has been suspended for one game by the NBA because of an incident on Wednesday against the Atlanta Hawks. 

According to Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press, Cousins will serve his suspension Thursday when the Kings take on the Miami Heat at American Airlines Arena. Sacramento later confirmed the news.

Per Ben Golliver of Sports Illustrated, here is the play against Hawks center Al Horford that got Cousins suspended:         



Cousins is no stranger to drawing suspensions from the NBA, as he missed the regular-season finale last year after racking up 16 technical fouls. That came two months after the Association suspended him for punching Houston Rockets guard Patrick Beverley during a game. 

The raw talent Cousins possesses is obvious, as he's averaging a career-high 27.5 points per game so far this season, but there's no denying the baggage that comes along with the ability.
