DeMar DeRozan Calls Kyle Lowry Out for Old Habit of Late-Night McDonald’s Runs

January 28th, 2016 by Kyle Newport Leave a reply »

Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry dropped some weight this past offseason (as Stack.com detailed), and as a result, he has seen his numbers on the court improve almost across the board.

Lowry undoubtedly put in work in the gym to get in better shape. However, part of his transformation can be explained by him not giving in to his food cravings.

On Thursday, Lowry and DeMar DeRozan made an appearance on The Dan Le Batard Show, and DeRozan called his teammate out for wanting McDonald's at 3 a.m.—even if it meant trying to walk through the drive-thru.

As Lowry put it, that was something he did "when [he] was fat."

Now that the 2016 NBA All-Star Game starting point guard is in better shape, those late-night McDonald's runs are probably a thing of the past.
