Dell Curry Explains What It Was Like Watching Stephen Go Off vs. Thunder

Many wonder what it must be like for Dell Curry to watch Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry play these days.

Like the rest of us, Papa Curry is left shaking his head.

Steph carried his team to a 121-118 overtime victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday night with a shooting performance for the ages. The reigning NBA MVP dropped 46 points on the Thunder, tied a single-game record by making 12 three-pointers and also broke his single-season record for treys.

Oh, and he won the game with a ridiculous three-pointer in the final second of overtime:

While Dell himself played in the NBA, not even he can believe what his son is doing.

During Sunday's game between the Charlotte Hornets and the Atlanta Hawks, Dell—a color commentator for the Hornets—said watching Steph play leaves him awestruck. And he had a message for those who were in the room next to him during the Warriors-Thunder game: He is sorry.
