Dear Mark Cuban: Stop Whining About the NFL

As reported by ESPN, Mark Cuban had some angry words for the NFL today over their playoff schedule. Cuban is unhappy because the NFL chose to put the Dallas Cowboys game on the same night as a Mavericks home game against the Utah Jazz.

Really, Mark Cuban? You're that worried about one of your 41 home games?

Apparently, Cuban is not worried about the Mavericks losing ticket sales, because the game against the Jazz is already sold out. He is simply worried that more people will stay at home to watch the Cowboys play instead of going to watch the Mavericks.

Mark Cuban claims that the NFL is "selfish" because it doesn't take the other leagues into account when making its schedule. What league cares about the others when they make schedules? Scheduling is difficult enough on its own.

Cuban is selfish for caring more about one worthless Mavericks game than about an important Cowboys playoff game. He's selfish for caring so much about losing some pride over an empty arena.

Would Cuban care if a Mavericks home playoff game was scheduled on the same night as a Texas Rangers home game? Doubtful.

I don't blame the NFL one ...
