The Cleveland Cavaliers reportedly fired head coach David Blatt on Friday despite the team's place atop the Eastern Conference with a 30-11 record.
Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo broke the news. Blatt finishes his run in Cleveland with an 83-40 regular-season record (.675). He also led the Cavs to the NBA Finals last season, his first in charge, before losing to the Golden State Warriors.
