Seeing as today is my birthday, I woke up this morning with a smile on my face. If there was one day out of the year the world should not try to mess with me, ‘twas today.

That means you too, laundry machines.

Someone upstairs must have thought my 20th trip around the sun was worthy of great happenings, because Danny Ferry’s resignation was a perfect present for me.

Lakers fans rejoice, because the Cavs are crumbling.

First Mike Brown, who won more than 60 percent of his games as head coach, got a pink slip and now Danny Ferry, a previously lauded executive, is out. Hmm… I wonder why?
