Dan Gilbert should know better.

He needs to just let go. It's over, done with, finished.

LeBron James is gone, hired away by the Heat. It's over.

But it sounds like Dan Gilbert is doing what wealthy guys like to do. He's lawyering up. He's hired who knows how many lawyers to try and figure out if the Miami Heat can be hit with tampering charges for stealing away his best friend, er, LeBron James.

Forget the fact that LeBron and the rest of those over-compensated lads from Miami are paying a visit to Cleveland this evening.

Dan wants to know if he's been tampered with.

And it sounds like he's willing to spend whatever it takes to find out.

Desperation?

Call it what you want but aren't there already enough lawyers involved in the NBA? What the heck, the commissioner is a lawyer, hire him to see if there's been any tampering here.
