With All-Star forward LaMarcus Aldridge sidelined for the second straight game with a strained groin, the Portland Trail Blazers needed fellow All-Star point guard Damian Lillard to rise to the occasion.
Judging by this nasty aerial display, it's safe to call this mission accomplished.
On a sideline inbounds pass, Lillard slipped around a Robin Lopez screen and raced toward the basket. Nicolas Batum led Lillard with a perfectly placed pass, and the reigning Rookie of the Year rocked the rim with a thunderous, two-handed flush.
Lillard poured in a game-high 28 points in Portland's 102-94 win over the Utah Jazz Friday night.
