Rick Carlisle is probably accustomed to being in the spotlight as head coach of the Dallas Mavericks, but this time he was the center of attention for a different reason.
Carlisle played the piano at a recent Bruce Hornsby concert at the House of Blues in Dallas.
He was so confident that he even played a solo over Hornsby's "Rainbow's Cadillac":
Being a head coach, Carlisle is all about teamwork. There was no exception when he did an impromptu collaboration with Hornsby's bass player:
