Last night, Karl-Anthony Towns had his first, "don't forget about the number-one pick" game. Hopefully you played him on Draft Kings. The rookie on Minnesota scored 28, grabbed 14 boards and sent away four shots for a monstrous 57.5 point fantasy night. Towns looks spry on both ends of the floor and his T-Wolves are 2-0 and poised to jump into the mix for the eight seed—especially if the Pelicans take their time getting healthy. 





Speaking of the Pelicans, after years of injuries and lackluster performance, Eric Gordon is once again a reliable, high-floor, daily fantasy play. Per statmuse.com, he hasn't dropped below 24 fantasy points in any of his past six games. He's averaging nearly 29 fantasy points in that time frame. Five of those six games came against Golden State and the league's top defense.

His matchup with Warriors' guard Klay Thompson is fascinating to watch. Thompson is long and moves his feet well, but Gordon is quicker, and can often get by Thompson, but has trouble finishing around the rim when Andrew Bogut patrols the paint. Fortunately for Gordon, ...
