Courtney Lee Injury: Updates on Knicks Guard’s Ankle and Return

New York Knicks shooting guard Courtney Lee suffered a sprained ankle Wednesday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

It is unclear when he'll return to the court.

Latest on Lee's Playing Status Wednesday, Nov. 30 The Knicks announced Lee would not return to Wednesday's game after he had suffered a sprain to his left ankle.

The guard had seven points and three assists in just eight minutes before coming out of the game.

Lee Has Emerged as Important Piece to Knicks Rotation  Lee previously battled a hip injury for a brief stretch during the 2015-16 season, but the three-and-D specialist appeared in all but three games while splitting time between the Memphis Grizzlies and Charlotte Hornets.



After averaging 9.6 points and 1.1 steals per game while shooting 45.4 percent from the field and 37.8 percent from three-point range, Lee inked a four-year, $50 million deal with the Knicks that made him a linchpin of head coach Jeff Hornacek's starting five alongside Derrick Rose, Carmelo Anthony, Kristaps Porzingis and Joakim Noah.
