Could Allen Iverson Be Part of ‘The Answer’ For The New York Knicks?

Allen Iverson once donned a black and red 76ers jersey and terrorized Knicks fans on a nightly basis.

While those days might be long gone, perhaps "The Answer" might be part of the solution to the Knicks troubles.

Or maybe he isn’t.

Iverson is past his prime, is a headache to deal with, and doesn’t need to surround the Knicks with any more bad press than they already have.

As it is, there are rumors swirling saying Isiah Thomas might resume his old post if Donnie Walsh has to step down due to health issues.

The Knicks don’t need Allen Iverson, nor should they even look into signing him.

At this point, New York would benefit more from allowing its young players to grow, than from employing a 35-year-old has-been.

The Knicks already have a fairly crowded backcourt, with Raymond Felton, Toney Douglas, Kelenna Azubuike, and throw in Bill Walker and Wilson Chandler, who sometimes play shooting guard.
