Clippers-Nuggets: No Announcers, No Problem

It's sad when the game becomes an afterthought.

Think back to the 1989 World Series.  The story should have been the all No-Cal Series, The Battle of the Bay, but instead that match-up will forever be known as the Earthquake World Series.

The 2006 Soccer world Cup was marred by a Zidane headbutt.  Most casual fans of the game, which would represent most soccer fans in the US, will remember that loss of control rather than the eventual Champion.  It was Italy.

Last night the Clippers finally were able to put a full game together and defeated the Denver Nuggets.  They have had leads before but never showed the composure necessary to maintain them.  

Until last night.

Last night, the Clipper bench out scored the Nugs 54-21.  Last night the Clippers looked like a team ready to make some noise.

Rasual Butler contributed off the bench, Baron Davis led and was a calming influence as the lead shrunk and Marcus Camby reminded everyone he is a former Defensive Player of the Year award winner with a stuff of a Carmelo Anthony shot.

Last night, the Clippers looked like a team.
