If Kevin Garnett is in a Los Angeles Clippers uniform after the Feb. 21 NBA trade deadline, there's a good chance Eric Bledsoe and DeAndre Jordan will be his teammates—not wearing Boston Celtics green and white.
That's the latest from the Los Angeles Times and reporter Broderick Turner, who's sources claim that the team is denying shopping the two young players across the league in any deal—even one for KG.
Here's the latest scoop from Turner's piece, featuring this quote from VP of basketball operations Gary Sacks:
I haven't called anybody to say, 'Hey, we have Eric Bledsoe and would you like him?' Or, 'We have DeAndre Jordan or we have anybody and would you want them?' That's not where I am right now with this team,' Sacks said in a phone interview from Houston on Saturday. That's not where we are.
Numerous reports (including this one from Yahoo! Sports) have re-linked the Clippers and Celtics on a potential trade that would send KG to LA and Bledsoe and Jordan to help start the rebuilding efforts in Boston.
