Capela Ruled Out for Thursday's Contest

Rockets play-by-play announcer Craig Ackerman said Capela is dealing with a right-ankle sprain and confirmed he would not play against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Capela has become a more integral part of Houston's rotation in his second season. He's slowly coming into his own, averaging a solid 7.2 points and 6.8 rebounds per game, and giving the Rockets solid production and depth.
The Rockets do have Dwight Howard starting at center. He's been able to stay healthy for the most part, so they will be able to survive without Capela as long as their other main big man is on the court.
However, Capela's absence does shine a light on the biggest problem the Rockets have had this season. He is fourth on the team in defensive win shares, per Basketball-Reference.com, which makes him even more valuable to a team that ranks 27th in points allowed.
