Cleveland’s Coaching Search: Why Byron Scott Is the Man for the Job

One of the most important decisions for the Cleveland Cavaliers organization's future still has yet to be made.

While the rest of the world focuses on LeBron James' big decision, many people have forgotten that the Cleveland Cavaliers are still without a coach.

The Cleveland coaching search took center stage while Michigan State Head Coach Tom Izzo flirted with the idea of five years and $30 million of Dan Gilbert's money to leave the Spartan basketball program for the shores of Lake Erie.

But after Izzo decided that he couldn't become the Cavaliers' coach without knowing what LeBron James was going to do, the Cleveland coaching search has taken a back burner to all of the free agency talk.

While the return of LeBron James is indeed an important piece for the future of the franchise, choosing the right coach to lead the organization may be a more important decision at this point.
