Wizards 113, Cavaliers 99—Final
John Wall tallied 21 points and 13 assists to lead the Washington Wizards over the LeBron James-less Cleveland Cavaliers 113-99 on Sunday at the Verizon Center.
Washington (28-30) quickly took control of the game, building a nine-point lead at halftime. After the break, Otto Porter Jr. connected on four three-pointers and put the score out of reach.
Porter finished with 21 points, while Bradley Beal netted 17 off the bench. Marcin Gortat added 13 more, largely as the beneficiary of Wall's pinpoint passing.
Cleveland (41-17) received a 28-point afternoon from Kyrie Irving, but the Cavaliers offense resorted to an unsuccessful isolation-heavy attack without LeBron. Kevin Love managed just 12 points.
