Cleveland Cavaliers Need Mo’ Mo

Remember when we were trying to figure out how the Cavs were going to match-up with Orlando in the Eastern Conference Finals?  Me too, but apparently Mo Williams never got that memo.  No, Mo got a different memo, and it just happened to be written by Rajon Rondo.

See, Mo Williams doesn’t appear to want to win a championship; rather, it appears he wants to miss jump shots continuously while allowing his opposing point guard Rondo to play at a MVP caliber.  I guess it isn’t exactly Mo’s fault that Rondo dropped 19 dimes in game two, but it is most definitely his own fault for shooting 1-9 from the field and only scoring 4 points in the game.

Game one wasn’t awful for Mo, but his lackluster first half performance really left a lot to be desired. He did play a pivotal role in the Cavs comeback, however.  If the Cavs want to come back in game three, they are going to need their all-star point guard to play the way he did at the end of the season when he strung together a streak of offensive mastery while LeBron was getting some rest.
