Cleveland Cavaliers: Dan Gilbert Has a Bridge To Sell You

If you follow Cavs owner Dan Gilbert on Twitter, then you know how rare it is to see a tweet from him, lately.

Except for wishing everyone a Happy New Year, Gilbert had been silent for almost two weeks leading up to the Cavs’ game against the Suns Sunday—a drastic change for someone who was sending out several tweets a day in October and November.

So when some new activity finally came, Cleveland fans were anxiously waiting to see what inspiring words Gilbert had to motivate them during these dark times for the Cavs franchise.

“Insightful Cavs fans get strategy to build & compete for long run. Young, athletic guys & great picks. NEVER gonna waiver. Like Manny?! Yep!” Gilbert tweeted.

Um, seriously?

In Gilbert’s defense, Cavs guard Manny Harris had just come off a 27-point, eight-rebound game—an encore performance to his 16 points and 10 rebounds he had against Golden State Friday.

However, Harris’ play has only been decent—at best.

Over the last five games that he played at least 20 minutes, Harris has averaged 12.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.8 ...
