Chris Paul Update: Just Hold Your Breath

According to a new report out of cbssports.com, Chris Paul is still seeking a trade. This is just the rumor that won’t die…

 

The only difference now is that he’s just having his managing company do it in the backrooms. The supposed purpose of the meeting Monday was to take the media out of the picture and give New Orleans more leverage.

 

The new top three teams are the Nets, Bobcats, and Orlando. Personally, I do not see why the Nets would want to give up Brook Lopez just to upgrade from Devin Harris to Chris Paul. If you remove Lopez, that team is going to have nothing at center, and lose one of the most promising true centers that the game has. That just seems like a horrible move to me.

 

As far as the Bobcats go, I am not even sure what they would trade; they have no big men. I guess they could give up Stephen Jackson, which would certainly improve the Hornets probably more than CP3 could help the Bobcats with their limited cast.
