Chris Paul can breeze by you, hit you with a crossover, put you in a spin cycle or move right through you in the blink of an eye.

Attempting to contain him is futile.

No truer statement could be made early in the first quarter Wednesday. Against the formidable Golden State Warriors, the Los Angeles Clippers point guard put his ball-handling talents on display.

With the help of a DeAndre Jordan screen, he easily navigated past Harrison Barnes. Paul then dribbled into the paint, only to be met by both Andrew Bogut and Klay Thompson.

CP3 effortlessly split the Dubs defenders, craftily bouncing the ball directly between the legs of Thompson, whose head turned sharply in disbelief. Paul then shoveled a pass to Luc Mbah a Moute, who finished strong.

Wizardry, plain and simple.

Legend has it Thompson is still searching for that ball.
