Chris Paul: New York Knicks Must Do Whatever It Takes To Land Him

CP3 in NYC has a nice ring to it.

After New Orleans Hornets' superstar Chris Paul meets with team officials on Monday to discuss his future with the team, New York Knicks' President Donnie Walsh should immediately ring Hornets' GM Dell Demps to inquire about acquiring the star point guard.

Paul clearly is not pleased with the direction the Hornets are heading in and is not convinced that they can compete for a championship. This week a list of teams that Paul would like to be traded to has surfaced, and according to reports New York is atop CP3's wish-list.

Reports also have leaked that Knicks are willing to trade anyone except Amar'e Stoudemire to acquire the All-Star point guard. Clearly, this is the attitude the Knickerbockers should have when they have the opportunity to potentially add the best point guard the franchise has seen grace the Garden floor since Walt "Clyde" Frazer.

Besides the Knicks, Paul's trade destination wish-list also included the Magic, Mavericks, and TrailBlazers.  However, New York has the best chance of acquiring the Hornets' point guard.  It is no secret that Paul wants to play with another ...
