Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul is undoubtedly one of the NBA's most valuable players, but his status is currently in question after going down with a rib injury during Monday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Paul Ruled Out for Remainder of Game Monday, Nov. 30 Paul started the contest against Damian Lillard and the Trail Blazers, but he was forced to exit after he scored 10 points and dished out six assists in 24 minutes. Rowan Kavner of Clippers.com confirmed the star was out for the rest of the game.

The 30-year-old veteran is arguably the best pure point guard in the game, and he is enjoying another strong season with nightly averages of 17.5 points, 8.4 assists and 1.6 steals coming into Monday's contest.

Paul has all the makings of a future Hall of Famer with career averages of roughly 19 points and 10 assists per game, and as pointed out by ESPN Stats & Info, he is on pace to be one of the greatest distributors of all time:
