Chris Paul Can Feel the Magic

According to Chris Broussard of ESPN Paul would prefer the Magic as his first choice destination, over the Knicks due to their trade possibilities and the ability to play with Dwight Howard. As a Magic fan I could not be more excited about these possibilities, especially considering our new neighbors in Miami.

With Chris Paul in hand, Orlando could have the kryptonite to Miami’s super-trio. Miami’s weakest positions are center and point guard. The Magic’s strongest positions, with the addition of Paul, would include two top players at the point and center. And the drop-off after our top three players would not be near as dramatic as Miami’s.

If you want to see the next step in Dwight’s offensive game then lets see what he can do with this combo. It might not be unreasonable to expect 30 points a night.

Just look at what CP3 did for Tyson Chandler.

I am not sure what we would give up in return but I would expect it to include Marcin Gortat and Vince Carter. CP3 and Redick as starters would make up for the loss of VC. I am not sure how Nelson would fit if we still had him, but I am sure Stan Van Gundy could ...
