Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade and Now LeBron James: A Miami Heat Dynasty?

At around 6:30 Thursday evening, LeBron James announced his intentions to sign with the Miami Heat, teaming up with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.

The Heat traded, bought out and released players to put themselves in a position to make a run at three very good players.

Who knew it would be the best three players available?

At any rate, Miami has firmly solidified themselves as a bona fide contender, despite having only four players under contract. The Heat did have five, but just traded Michael Beasley, former second overall pick of the 2008 NBA Draft, for a second round pick.

Anything to dump salary, I suppose.

Pat Riley and the Heat are clearly trying to make cap space, and quickly. They have at the very least eight players they will need to sign.

It should help that they will sign most, if not all, of their second-round picks (4) for very small contracts. 

Who knows, maybe even an undrafted player will make the cut.
